Twitter automation is often seen as a sin. There are many positive ways to use Twitter automation.
1) thank you for directing message Automation: Automation can be used as an automatic reply to where shall I get new followers thank you for a message. Just like "thank you" or "as a thank you I give my eBook for free download. ......"。 This first type of automation works very well, is positive.
2) Twitter Autofollow: other forms of Automation when you automatically follow people who follow you. I wrote an article, completely down into this Twitter Autofollow. According to Twitter, automatic tracking is acceptable. The idea behind it is, if someone follows you, they must share a common interest, therefore, it makes sense if you follow them back.
3) DM (direct message) automation: If you are using an API called the Caltweet, DM automation you can actually do and do legally. Caltweet DMs to all your followers (or even ignore the whispers of the 200 largest DM rules) to announce the event. For example, one of my friends has a rock band. The band for his Twitter account (@thebandflatland) has a small but loyal following. With DM automation, he can let them know that the forthcoming concerts.
4) building automation: allows you to find and follow people based on similar interests. Tools who will follow, and then if they don't follow back within a certain time limit unfollow. The idea is that you can set up a group of followers share a common interest. This form of automation is legitimate but it is often abused.
5) content automation: people often do not know how to Tweet, or don't have time to write good articles on a particular topic. Using Google Alerts and RSS source tweets from your Twitter account can have the latest articles on that topic. Another form of automated scheduling of the content of the Tweet so you can remind or to one of my customers push RSS feeds directly from their blog. Automation of this type is good because you can find the information you need to keep your followers happy. I manage all these types of automation for my clients within the guidelines and do this on Twitter, contains the concept of social media.
I hope this makes things clearer, removing negative stereotypes from the Word Automation.
