Early life
Alex Morgan is in the process of growing up, a player, but she didn't start playing organized football until she was 14 years old. She attended diamond bar high school, where she was three-time all-League selection, named NSCAA All-American. After graduating from high school, Morgan went to the University of California, Berkeley, where she led the Golden Bears each of her four years of NCAA tournament (and the second round twice). In 2008, her United States U-20 on FIFA Women's World Cup, beat North Korea scored in the final to win the title – named by the FIFA game and the second-best goals, goals for this year.
At the end of her career at Berkeley, in 2010, tied her for the third time in the autumn European shooters, on the list of schools with 45 goals, she measured in units, with 107 third.
